The National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE) has validated over 412 million lei for energy compensation schemes from May 18 to July 31, 2026. Most funds were allocated for natural gas consumption, with significant amounts approved in late July. ANRE President George Niculescu emphasized the importance of timely validation and acknowledged the public's expectations for faster processing.
