Romania will supply Ukraine with Patriot interceptor missiles as part of a NATO initiative, announced President Nicușor Dan after meeting with President Volodymyr Zelensky. This contribution aligns with other NATO countries that possess these interceptors. The EU has also allowed Ukraine to use €3.2 billion from a financial program for purchasing American Patriot missiles. Discussions between the two leaders included joint drone production, with Romania allocating €200 million for this purpose. The meeting took place during the first Carpathian Integration Initiative gathering, involving representatives from eight countries. Additionally, the U.S. and Canada are also contributing to Ukraine's defense efforts.
