Ukrainian media reports that Romania is supplying Patriot missiles to Kyiv from its own stock as part of a NATO initiative. The EU has allocated €3.2 billion for Ukraine to purchase Patriot interceptors. This announcement was made by Romanian President Nicușor Dan during a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the Carpathian 8 Summit. Romania's contribution will be proportional to that of other NATO countries. Additionally, discussions on joint drone production between Ukraine and Romania are underway, with Romania allocating €200 million for this purpose. The meeting also covered infrastructure projects and security in the Black Sea region.
