A priest from Poienești was dismissed by the Huși Diocese after admitting to fathering twins with a married parishioner. Following an internal investigation, he requested to withdraw from clerical duties. The priest, who served for 20 years, is now prohibited from performing religious services and wearing clerical attire. A new parish priest will be appointed soon.
