Premiul Nobel pentru literatură va fi acordat la Stockholm

The Nobel Prize in Literature will be awarded on Thursday by the Swedish Academy. Last year's winner, László Krasznahorkai, was recognized for his surreal and anarchic novels that blend a grim worldview with humor. Earlier this week, three scientific prizes were announced, including the Nobel Prize in Medicine for research on brain function, the Physics Prize for demystifying rare neutrinos, and the Chemistry Prize for deciphering mirror images in molecules. The week concludes with the Peace Prize on Friday, and the Economics Prize will be announced on Monday. This year's monetary award is 12 million Swedish kronor, approximately 1.2 million dollars.
