Premiul Nobel pentru Literatură 2026. Cine sunt favoriții, conform regulii din ultimii 8 ani

The 2026 Nobel Prize in Literature is expected to be awarded to a woman from outside Europe, continuing a trend established since 2018. Jamaica Kincaid and Can Xue are among the leading candidates, with Kincaid's works often highlighted for their exploration of Caribbean culture and identity. The Academy has faced criticism for its historical bias towards male European authors, with only 18 women among the 122 laureates. Other favorites include Anne Carson and Haruki Murakami, while Mircea Cărtărescu is considered a long shot. The announcement will be made on Thursday at 1 PM Romanian time.
