Premierul Ungariei, Péter Magyar, anunță un pachet masiv de taxe pe marile averi de la 1 ianuarie
Hungary's Prime Minister Péter Magyar announced a significant tax reform package set to take effect on January 1, targeting wealth taxation and supporting small businesses. The new progressive tax system will impose a 1% tax on individuals with assets between 1 billion and 100 billion forints, and 1.5% for those exceeding 100 billion forints. This tax will encompass all forms of wealth, including real estate and foreign investments. Additionally, professional athletes will lose their privileged tax status, aligning their taxation with that of artists. The reforms also include increased benefits for medical leave, maternity, and pensions.
