Premierul ungar Peter Magyar respinge acordul încheiat de MOL cu compania ucraineană Naftogaz pentru construirea unui depozit de gaze în Ucraina

Ukrainian company Naftogaz announced a memorandum with Hungarian MOL for petroleum storage in Hungary during the Carpathian Eight summit. Hungary's government, however, rejected cooperation between the two energy firms. Prime Minister Péter Magyar clarified that Hungary is not a member of the C8 group, despite being invited. The C8 aims to create a common investment space in the region, with a portfolio of 34 projects worth around 115 billion euros. MOL plans to start preparatory work for storing Ukrainian hydrocarbons, but the Hungarian government has stated that no oil depot will be built near the Ukrainian border under the current administration.
