Hungary's Paks Nuclear Power Plant will cease operations due to low Danube water levels, marking its first complete shutdown in 44 years. Prime Minister Péter Magyar announced that one of the last two energy production units will stop functioning, reducing output to 240 megawatts before a full halt. The plant is expected to be closed within 72 hours, as per government-controlled MVM officials.
