Premierul Franței cere restricții de circulație după revoltele din weekend. Nu este exclusă declararea stării de urgență

French Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu has urged local authorities to impose partial curfews following recent violence and looting. He indicated that a state of emergency could be declared if the situation worsens, but local measures are preferred for now. Lecornu announced this after a crisis meeting, allowing mayors to implement curfews as needed. Authorities are also working to identify those involved in the weekend's unrest, with around 80% of arrested individuals expected to face charges. The government plans to introduce legislation requiring those responsible for damages to pay for repairs and is setting aside funds for affected areas. Lecornu attributed some violence to radical left groups aiming to destabilize the country ahead of next year's presidential elections, leading to increased security measures at political events. He expressed confidence in Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez, who faced criticism over the handling of the unrest.
