Premierul desemnat nu știe valoarea salariului minim în România

Designated Prime Minister Siegfried Mureșan presented the government program and minister list to Parliament. During a press conference, he was questioned about future pension values and current minimum wage and pension levels in Romania. Mureșan avoided precise figures initially but eventually estimated the minimum wage at approximately 4,300 lei gross. He stated that pensions and salaries would be indexed according to inflation. When pressed for the minimum pension value, he confirmed it as 1,281 lei. Mureșan also mentioned an inflation rate of 6.2% for indexing, despite being corrected about the legal requirement for the previous year's average inflation rate, which was 7.3%.
