Bulgaria plans to build a national center at Dobroslavtsi Airport for monitoring key processes using spatial data, as announced by Prime Minister Rumen Radev. The project aims to enhance the country's technological capabilities and includes a high-tech industrial park focused on space technologies and defense. The first phase will last three years, involving runway restoration and park construction. The initiative is expected to create jobs and stimulate local development, with a focus on retaining talent in Bulgaria. Additionally, a development and education center will be established to support graduates in space engineering.
