Premierul britanic convoacă o reuniune de urgență privind valul de căldură și seceta. Temperaturile ar putea ajunge la 37°C

UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham is convening an emergency meeting to address the impacts of the fifth heatwave of the year, with temperatures potentially reaching 37°C. The meeting will focus on measures to manage extreme temperatures, wildfires, and drought conditions. The dry weather has led to numerous wildfires, with firefighters responding to 966 incidents this year. Agricultural representatives warn that drought may reduce production. The majority of the UK is experiencing severe drought, with 45 million people affected and 27 million facing water consumption restrictions. The heat has also strained the healthcare system, with nearly 2,877 heat-related deaths reported this year.
