German wind turbine manufacturer Enercon has partnered with French group Qair to supply equipment for a new wind farm in Dobrogea, Romania. The Cobadin 1 project will feature seven E-175 EP5 E2 turbines, set to be operational by August 2027. This collaboration marks Enercon's first partnership with Qair in Romania and the introduction of the E-175 model in the country. The turbines will have a capacity of 7 MW and a rotor diameter of 175 meters, making them among the largest installed in Romania. The project is expected to contribute to the growing wind energy sector in the region, with a total capacity of 50 MW.
