Between September 9-13, 21 professional teams from 14 countries will compete in the 58th edition of the Tour of Romania, covering over 800 kilometers. The event, organized by the Romanian Cycling Federation and Auchan Romania, starts in Chișinău and ends in Bucharest, featuring a route that connects two triumphal arches. Alongside the elite competition, five mass races for amateurs will take place in host cities, promoting community participation. The event kicks off with a team presentation on September 8 in Chișinău, followed by the first stage on September 9. The competition aims to showcase the culture and hospitality of Moldova and Romania, with various awards for top cyclists, including a special trophy inspired by Constantin Brâncuși. Nearly 3000 amateur cyclists are expected to participate in related events, encouraging an active lifestyle.
