ING Bank Romania has introduced the SAFEbutton feature in its Home'Bank app, allowing clients to instantly block account access if they suspect fraud. Previously, account blocking required contacting the Call Center. The SAFEbutton enhances security by enabling clients to take immediate action through a few simple steps in the app. To regain access, clients must contact the Call Center for identity verification. This feature is part of ING's broader SAFE ecosystem, which includes other security measures like SAFEcall, aimed at protecting users from financial fraud.
