Renovatio Solar has partnered with CATL to develop the Borzești Energy Storage project, a 918 MWh energy storage system in Romania. This marks the first large-scale energy storage project in the country, showcasing local EPC capabilities. The project, managed by Borzești Energy Storage SRL, aims to enhance energy efficiency by redistributing surplus solar energy during peak demand hours. It is expected to create jobs and improve local infrastructure while reducing energy imports. The collaboration with CATL ensures access to a global supply chain, strengthening Renovatio's position in the renewable energy market.
