Romania has failed to qualify for any individual finals at the World Gymnastics Championships in Rotterdam, marking a negative milestone for the country's women's gymnastics. The team also missed the team final, which was crucial for securing spots for the 2028 Olympics. Alexia Blănaru achieved the best individual result, finishing 52nd in the all-around competition. The Romanian team placed 19th overall, accumulating 151.996 points. The teams qualifying for the 2026 team final include China, the USA, and several others.
