Premieră medicală. Primul robot care îți găsește vena și îți recoltează singur sânge, autorizat în SUA • Newsweek România

The FDA has approved Aletta, the first autonomous robotic system for blood collection in the U.S. This device identifies veins, collects blood, and applies dressings under the supervision of a phlebotomist. It uses near-infrared light and Doppler ultrasound to locate veins and can be monitored by a single specialist overseeing multiple devices. Clinical data showed successful collection rates comparable to trained phlebotomists, even in patients with difficult veins. This innovation aims to address staffing shortages in blood collection procedures.
