Premieră istorică în Germania: Un politician din partidul AfD a fost ales președinte al Parlamentului regional. Cine este și cum s-a ajuns la această numire

For the first time in Germany, a member of the AfD party has been elected president of a regional parliament. Tobias Rausch was chosen as president of the Saxony-Anhalt Parliament during its inaugural session. He received 48 votes in favor, with 29 against and 5 abstentions. The AfD won the regional elections in Saxony-Anhalt with 43.8% of the votes but did not achieve an absolute majority. The party has been classified as far-right by the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution. Rausch, a member of the regional parliament since 2016, has stated he is pragmatic, not extremist. His election marks a significant step for the AfD in government formation, with plans for a prime ministerial candidate in December 2026.
