The '50 States, One Community' project by the Romanian Embassy in the USA concludes after nearly five years, marking a significant public diplomacy initiative. Ambassador Andrei Muraru became the first Romanian ambassador to visit all 50 states during a single term. Launched in October 2021, the project aimed to strengthen ties with Romanian-American communities and local authorities. It included 542 activities, such as meetings with officials and business representatives, visits to Romanian churches, and cultural events. The project enhanced institutional dialogue and fostered new partnerships, culminating in a symbolic visit to New York, the last state visited.
