Asirom has announced that starting September 2, it will cover war-related risks in its home insurance policy, a first in the global insurance market. The 'Căminul Meu' policy will now include coverage for damages caused by war, civil war, sabotage, and military coups. This includes compensation for damages from drones or their fragments, regardless of their origin. Asirom's president emphasized the need for modern insurance solutions in response to changing global realities. The decision comes amid increasing incidents of military drones entering Romanian airspace, particularly due to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
