Premieră a ultimilor ani. Am depășit Franța la producția de porumb într-un an în care Europa a recoltat cele mai mici cantități din 1995 încoace - Economica.net

Europe is set to produce its lowest corn yield since 1994/1995 due to severe drought, particularly affecting France. Romania has become the second-largest producer, surpassing France, with an estimated yield of over 7.8 million tons. Poland remains the largest producer with around 9 million tons. France's production is expected to drop to 7 million tons, marking a significant decline. Overall, the EU's corn production is projected at 48 million tons, down 5% from last month and 16% from last year, with the smallest harvested area recorded in history. Hungary also faces a historic low in corn production due to drought conditions.
