Bran Castle has been ranked 12th among the world's most mysterious destinations this autumn, attracting international tourists, especially around Halloween. The castle, linked to the Dracula legend, sees a growing number of foreign visitors, with 60% of this year's guests coming from abroad. Despite its military origins, the castle's fame stems from its association with Bram Stoker's novel, even though he never visited Romania. The director of Bran Castle noted an increase in American tourists and aims for the castle to be recognized as the top spooky destination in Transylvania. Admission fees vary, with standard rates set at 120 lei for adults.
