Prefectul de Covasna, trimis în judecată pentru abuz în serviciu

Raduly Istvan, the prefect of Covasna County, and others have been indicted for abuse of office related to a public procurement contract. Prosecutors allege that they favored SC Electroconstructia Elco SRL in awarding a contract for electrical repairs, bypassing legal requirements. The actions resulted in a financial loss to the county's budget. The investigation revealed that the procurement process was manipulated to benefit the company, including altering bid conditions after the deadline. The case has been sent to court with asset seizure measures in place.
