Prefectul de Covasna, trimis în judecată de DNA

Raduly Istvan, the prefect of Covasna, has been indicted by DNA prosecutors for abuse of office related to a public works contract. Alongside him, a public procurement advisor and a company representative face similar charges, with estimated damages exceeding 356,000 lei. The case involves favoritism towards a firm for repair works at the Prefecture, misrepresented as simple repairs to bypass legal procedures. Prosecutors have placed a lien on the defendants' assets to recover the damages, and the case has been sent to the Tribunal of Covasna for trial.
