Prefectul Capitalei și-a dat demisia după numirea lui Marian Neacșu ca minstru de Interne: „O sfidare pentru toți oamenii decenți”

The prefect of Bucharest, Andrei Nistor, resigned after the appointment of Marian Neacșu as Minister of Internal Affairs, calling it an affront to decent people in the ministry. Nistor expressed his concerns on Facebook, stating that having a convicted individual in such a position is unacceptable. He hopes the next prefect will be competent and continue important projects, particularly in digitalization, for which he offered his support. Nistor thanked his colleagues for their collaboration during challenging times and emphasized the need for the next prefect to allow professionals to perform their duties effectively. Neacșu, previously a PSD deputy, was convicted for conflict of interest but has since been rehabilitated.
