PPC și AWS vor să construiască un centru de date în Grecia

PPC and AWS have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to develop a data center in Greece, initially with a capacity of 300 MW, aiming for future expansion to 1 GW. AWS will lease the facility for 15 years, while PPC provides the site and energy infrastructure. The project includes long-term renewable energy agreements to support Amazon's carbon neutrality goal by 2040. Both companies also plan to collaborate on cloud and AI initiatives to aid PPC's digital transformation. The MoU is binding but subject to further negotiations and necessary approvals.
