Povestea singurului meşter din Ardeal care mai sculptează troiţe. Petruţ Chirteş, recunoscut drept "Tezaur Uman Viu"

In the Gurghiu Valley, Petruț Chirteș is the last craftsman in Transylvania carving wooden crosses, known as troițe. Awarded the title of "Living Human Treasure" by the Ministry of Culture, he continues the tradition of wood sculpture at 79 years old. His daughter, Dana, is following in his footsteps, ensuring the craft's survival. Chirteș's work includes intricate symbols on the troițe, reflecting deep spiritual meanings. He also highlights the significance of traditional wooden chests and tools, reminiscing about the rich craftsmanship of the past. Despite the decline of these trades, Chirteș remains dedicated to preserving this cultural heritage.
