Saint Parascheva, a revered figure in Orthodox Christianity, dedicated her life to helping the poor from a young age. After her parents' death, she distributed her wealth and sought spiritual fulfillment in various holy places. Despite her short life of 27 years, her legacy grew after her remains were found intact years later. Since the 17th century, her relics have drawn thousands of pilgrims to Iași every October, where they seek her intercession. The annual pilgrimage has become a significant event, with many believers waiting hours to pay their respects, sharing personal stories of faith and healing.
