The Haferland Week festival, celebrating Transylvanian Saxon culture, will take place from August 5-8, 2027, marking its 15th edition. This event highlights the rich heritage of local villages and promotes sustainable cultural tourism. Organizers expect a record turnout, building on the previous edition's nearly 10,000 participants. Michael Schmidt, co-founder of the festival, promises new surprises alongside traditional events like the ball, parades, and jazz concerts. The educational aspect continues with the Youth Haferland camp, fostering intercultural dialogue among young people.
