Professor Marcel Roman has been training exceptional students in mathematics at TUIASI for nearly two decades, leading to significant international success. His center has become a breeding ground for future Olympians, with many former students excelling in prestigious universities and companies worldwide. The rigorous selection process for the performance center begins each fall, ultimately forming a team of six students who represent Romania in international competitions. Over 150 medals have been won, showcasing the effectiveness of the program, which emphasizes hard work, discipline, and innate talent. Roman's initiative has evolved from volunteer efforts to institutional recognition, ensuring its legacy.
