Poveste de dragoste în perioada comunistă. Cum a păcălit Securitatea o tânără româncă îndrăgostită de un englez

A love story from the communist era reveals how a young Romanian woman deceived the Securitate to be with her English fiancé. In 1987, during strict regulations against foreign relationships, she fell in love with an English truck driver. Their marriage application was denied after a year, leading her to escape Romania hidden in his truck in 1988. The Securitate only learned of her departure in 1989, after British journalists reported the story. Consequently, she was expelled from the Communist Party and faced potential punishment if she returned, while the responsible Securitate officer faced disciplinary action.
