The National Cyber Security Directorate (DNSC) has launched an interactive digital vigilance test to help users identify deepfake videos, phishing messages, and other online manipulations. The test includes 10 scenarios where participants must determine the authenticity of various media. Users are encouraged to activate sound for audio-based challenges. The first scenario features a deepfake video of Donald Trump, prompting users to assess its validity. DNSC experts warn that manipulated content can appear very realistic and advise users to look for inconsistencies and verify sources before sharing content.
