Posibile vestigii arheologice, descoperite pe un șantier din București. Lucrările au fost oprite

Construction work on a tram infrastructure modernization project in Bucharest has been temporarily halted due to the discovery of potentially significant archaeological walls. Experts will assess the importance of these findings. The discovery occurred on Armand Călinescu Street, where tram tracks are being rehabilitated. A team from the Bucharest Culture Directorate has already conducted an initial inspection, and archaeologists will determine the historical value of the walls. The evaluation process is expected to take about three weeks. This project is part of a larger modernization effort for tram lines in the city, with a contract value of approximately 65.7 million lei.
