Portul Constanța introduce cântărirea automată a camioanelor

The Port of Constanța is implementing a dynamic weighing system for trucks, allowing automatic weight measurement while vehicles are in motion. This technology has been installed at several access gates, including Gates 7, 10, 10 bis, and 14, with calibration operations ongoing. The system can measure various parameters such as total weight, axle load, and vehicle dimensions without requiring trucks to stop. It is designed for vehicles up to 200 tons and can operate at speeds between 5 and 90 km/h. The use of fiber optic sensors enhances data collection, aiding in traffic monitoring and ensuring compliance with weight limits. This initiative aims to modernize port infrastructure and improve freight traffic efficiency.
