Greenvolt Power has officially launched a large-scale battery energy storage facility in Turośń Kościelna, Poland, with a capacity of 200 MW and 800 MWh. This facility will help balance the national energy system by storing excess electricity and supplying it during peak demand. It is part of a broader trend in Poland towards energy storage solutions, which are becoming increasingly vital as renewable energy sources grow. The project includes advanced lithium-iron-phosphate technology and aims to enhance the flexibility of the energy system. Greenvolt is also developing additional projects in Poland, including a similar facility in Ełk and a larger one in Siedlce, contributing to the country's energy transition.
