This marked the helicopter's first international deployment. The firefighters worked for two weeks alongside Serbian teams, facing challenging conditions. Their efforts were coordinated through the EU Civil Protection Mechanism, following a request from Serbian authorities. The Romanian team included firefighters from Sibiu and utilized both ground and aerial resources to limit fire spread.
