Romanian firefighters are actively combating wildfires near Grebenat, Serbia, facing challenging terrain and dense vegetation. They are working alongside Serbian authorities to control the situation. Firefighters have established a perimeter of about 34 hectares to prevent the fire's spread and are continuously engaged in locating and extinguishing active hotspots. Several fire trucks, including high-capacity vehicles, have been deployed, and a water supply point has been set up to support operations. Two fire trucks remain on standby overnight to respond to any flare-ups, prioritizing the safety of the teams and protecting unaffected areas.
