Pompierii români au început misiunile în Serbia

Romanian firefighters have begun operations to support localities Kajtasovo and Grebenac in Serbia due to ongoing wildfires. The intervention includes two operational sectors aimed at limiting fire spread and protecting communities. A ground intervention module consisting of 69 personnel and specialized equipment was sent to assist. Additionally, a Black Hawk RescEU aircraft has conducted water drops to combat the fires affecting over 3,500 hectares, particularly in the Deliblato Sands Nature Reserve. The helicopter represents a resource from the European rescEU reserve and is participating in its first international mission.
