Moldovan firefighters assisted in extinguishing a significant fire near Diavata, Greece, collaborating with local authorities for five hours. They focused on cooling affected areas and preventing re-ignition. The team also provided water supply support to Greek firefighters. This operation is part of Moldova's participation in the EU Civil Protection Mechanism, enhancing rapid response capabilities during the summer fire risk season.
