The local emergency inspectorate reports ongoing efforts to contain fires in various areas, including Băile Herculane, where a fire has affected about 2.5 hectares. An aerial support helicopter is currently grounded due to adverse weather conditions. Ground monitoring is being conducted by forestry workers to manage potential flare-ups. In Delineşti, firefighters are addressing a larger fire impacting around 25 hectares. Despite the intensity of the flames, there is no immediate threat to nearby homes. Another fire in Petroşniţa has been successfully extinguished.
