Pompieri din Bihor, în misiune în Serbia. Vor interveni la incendiile care au cuprins peste 3.500 de hectare de teren

Nine firefighters from the Crișana Emergency Inspectorate have been deployed to Serbia to assist in wildfire suppression efforts for ten days. They are part of a Romanian intervention module responding to a request from Serbian authorities. The fires primarily affect the Deliblato Sands Nature Reserve, covering over 3,500 hectares, with difficult terrain complicating operations. Romania is sending a specialized module of 69 personnel and 15 technical means, including a Black Hawk helicopter for aerial support. This marks the helicopter's first international mission under the European rescEU capacity. Additionally, smoke from the fires has been reported in western Romania, particularly in Timișoara, attributed to winds carrying it from Serbia.
