Polonia prelungește controalele la granițele cu Germania și Lituania

Poland will extend border controls with Germany and Lithuania for another six months, until March 30, 2027, to combat illegal migration and enhance security. Since reintroducing these controls in July 2025, nearly 2,500 individuals have been denied entry. Additionally, Poland and Lithuania are developing a joint evacuation plan for civilians in case of a major crisis. This plan aims to facilitate the evacuation of residents from the Baltic states to Poland if necessary. Preparations are part of the ongoing 'Vyčio Skliautas 2026' exercises, which test national mobilization systems.
