Polonia își înconjoară cele mai importante 10 orașe cu păduri. „Este un moment istoric și începutul unei noi abordări”

Poland has inaugurated its first community forests near major cities to protect green spaces for urban residents and visitors. The forests around Wrocław, the country's third-largest city, cover approximately 13,000 hectares, with 8,000 designated as community forests. These areas aim to provide recreational opportunities while ensuring environmental benefits. The initiative, first announced in 2024, seeks to transform forests near cities into social spaces for activities like walking and cycling. While logging will continue, it will be limited to preserve the forests' social functions.
