The country's defense budget has surged nearly fourfold since 2022, reaching 30.4 billion zlotys. This shift is driven by the ongoing conflict in Ukraine and perceived threats from Russia. Poland aims to build the largest ground army in Europe, prioritizing local production of drones and munitions. Regional defense cooperation is expanding, with companies from the Czech Republic and other nations entering the Polish market. Poland's military forces have grown to over 220,000 personnel, and the country is committed to spending 5% of its GDP on defense by 2035.
