„Polonia, Germania, România”: clasamentul mașinilor cu numere străine din Italia, unde țara noastră e a treia
Romania ranks third in Italy for foreign-registered vehicles, with 7,464 cars, following Poland and Germany. As of June 30, 2026, Italy had 118,588 foreign-registered vehicles, a 32% increase from the previous year. Poland leads with 75,701 vehicles, while Germany has 14,067. Most Polish plates are found in Naples, where some agencies re-register cars to avoid high Italian insurance costs. Residents using foreign-registered cars for over 30 days annually must register them in REVE to avoid fines up to €3,558. A proposed amendment to the Italian Highway Code may require Italian insurance for these vehicles.
