Polonia critică „şovinismul” ucrainean, în contextul dispute reaprinse de planurile unui memorial al figurilor naţionaliste la Kiev

Poland has warned Ukraine about the consequences of honoring controversial nationalist leaders at a planned memorial in Kyiv, calling it a short-sighted policy. The remarks follow President Zelensky's signing of a law establishing a National Heroes Memorial, which includes figures linked to the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA), responsible for historical massacres. This has strained relations between Poland and Ukraine, especially after Zelensky awarded a military unit the title of UPA Heroes. Recent events, including the repatriation of nationalist leader Yevhen Konovalets' remains, have further fueled tensions.
