Polish Air Force intercepted a Russian reconnaissance aircraft over the Baltic Sea, following the recent crash of a Russian cruise missile in Poland. Two F-16 fighter jets were deployed in response to the Il-20 aircraft detected near Kolobrzeg. The Polish Defense Minister noted the aircraft was in international airspace without a flight plan. This incident follows an increase in Russian reconnaissance flights near Poland's coast. The missile that crashed was identified as a CH-101 capable of carrying a nuclear warhead, but no injuries were reported.
