Polonezii de ORLEN încep producția de gaze din trei noi zăcăminte offshore din Norvegia - Economica.net
Polish company ORLEN Upstream Norway has commenced production at the Idun Nord field in the Norwegian Sea, with two more fields set to start soon. These developments are expected to add around 30 million barrels of oil equivalent to ORLEN's production portfolio, primarily in natural gas. The integrated project approach has enhanced economic efficiency through shared infrastructure and logistics synergies. The new fields will connect to the existing Skarv FPSO unit, extending its operational life until at least 2040. Norway remains a key gas supplier for Poland, with ORLEN's production significantly contributing to Polish gas needs.
